In 2004, two former Russian soldiers from St. Petersburg, both of whom spent time in Chechnya, shared their stories through masks, video and photodiaries. One is a young man at the beginning of his career, and the other is an officer at the end of his. Both suffered life-altering injuries as military men, and, through these media, express their feelings about the effect of their military experiences on their lives. They also speak in detail about these experiences, including time spent in Chechnya and the events that led up to their injuries. These stories will be exchanged with the stories of other soldiers.
