MISSION OF KIBOKO PROJECTS

Kiboko Projects implements cultural exchange programs, using masks, documentary films, and the arts as media through which participants share their life stories.  Accounts have been conveyed by a wide range of people; from students in NYC to soldiers in Russia to fishermen along Lake Victoria and young mothers from Nairobi and Kisumu, Kenya.  Members of similar communities in different cultures exchange their individual histories and important issues in family, health, and society.  This dialogue is the first step toward an understanding of each other.
