Five former child soldiers from the Sudanese People’s Liberation Army, now relocated in Kenya, came together in Nairobi in 2004 to make masks, view past stories of other soldiers, and to tell their stories on video.  They talked of being children during war in Southern Sudan , the effect of the war on their villages and families, of how they came to be soldiers and then to leave Sudan .  All of these young men have left their families in Sudan , and wait for the day when they can be reunited.  These compelling stories will be exchanged with other similar groups, and will be made into a short film.
