This mask of mine has four different colors. The first one is black which represents our color – the beauty and color. The white represents peace in our community where we share ideas – we can help other people. Whenever one is having a problem we come together and share what is wrong and correct it. The red one: in our country during the struggle for independence, many people were killed. This represents our blood. The green represents our environment, even now as you look around, our environment is green beauty having different flowers and also the ground is well covered with grass. I decided to decorate like this because it makes me to remember, what color am I? Should I have peace with other people? Should I be able to conserve our environment – and what should I do if it is bare? And with the white – I remember the peace. I am the first born in my family. My grandmother had died and now we are remaining with the grandfather who is a traditional healer. He stays in the market to announce his herbs. It attracts people to sell his herbs, and he can support is other wives. In our family, as a boy, there are duties that I am responsible for. Every weekend when I’m home, I look after the cattle, I help my mother in digging the farm, I help to milk the cow. After education, I would like to have a well employed job then for me to be able to support when my family when I attain the age where I could be married.
