My mask represents the many different aspects of my life.  I wanted my mask to show how dynamic and expressive I am. The waves at the bottom of my mask show my love for the ocean and how my true colors are sometimes not seen as quickly as other.  The puzzle ocean demonstrates how I am flexible and able to relate to different people, communities, and cultures.  Also, it illustrates society’s hope in a chaotic world that people have the ability to work together and create a better place for everyone. The gold sparkles show how I like to be an individual.  The flowers on the mask show nature’s influence over us.  The stem of the flower wraps around the nose of the mask which shows my boundaries along with issues and hardships I face. My  mask symbolizes that I am always changing and I want to create significance in this world by being different.

Я хотела с помощью маски показать свою активность и эмоциональность. Волны в нижней части  символизируют мою любовь к океану. Он отражает  мою главную черту – я могу приспособиться к любым обстоятельствам и найти общий язык с людьми разных культур. Также океан символизирует надежду людей вместе сделать этот мир лучше. Золотые блёстки говорят о моей индивидуальности. Я нарисовала цветы, чтобы показать связь природы и человека. Стебель цветка обвивает нос маски. Он указывает на мои привязанности и проблемы, с которыми я сталкиваюсь. Моя маска показывает постоянные перемены, которые со мной происходят. Я хочу привнести в этот мир что-то своё, новое.
