Kyra (Eleanor Roosevelt High School, NYC) The front side of my mask is designed with a sunflower, daisy and a black mask covering the eyes. The symbolism of the flowers is that since I am in my teenage years, I am blossoming into an adult because I am learning new things and becoming more knowledgeable. The reason for having the black mask covering my eyes is because when someone first meets me, I am very quiet and shy, almost as if I am shielding my personality. It is only when someone really knows me that I "shed" my mask and my real inner personality is revealed. |
